I had the pleasure of meeting greeting and being looked after by Dr Liban and his wonderful team on two occasions recently for my robotic prostate removal operation - He was very thorough in preparing me for the job in hand and explaining why I had to have an epidural to save morphine and hence post op problems with its excessive use and it seemed to work very well as I had no post op pain and I am delighted with his expertise and gentle care. 'Thank you Bernard and Team'

Dr Liban was responsible for my anaesthetic care during a bilateral hip replacement at the Cromwell Hospital, Londo. From introduction and explanation of the process he was to follow, to completion of the operation, I was always comfortable. The pain management from start to finish was excellent- and clearly reflects very well on the wider Cromwell care team. There were some immediate follow-up issues (not serious) and Dr Liban continued to be engaged and involved until I left the hospital.

I have no difficulty in offering this feedback on my recent surgical experience. All surgical procedures cause some anxiety in patients and I can confirm that I was indeed concerned about my own. Dr Liban 'Bernard' said and did all the right things in completing my understanding of what was happening and reassuring me of his own competence and that of all the team involved in my process. Bernard was welcoming, warm and professional.

I had a hip replacement a few months ago at Bupa Cromwell Hospital and was lucky to have Dr Liban as my Anaesthetist. Before the surgery, he explained clearly what his plan was and listened carefully to my fears and concerns about going through the surgery. His professionalism and care made me feel comfortable which is important when you are placing your life in someone's hands.

I had the privilege of being able to choose Dr Liban as my Anaesthetist for cancer surgery one year ago. Because of multiple chronic medical problems I was somewhat of a challenge. The long surgery went well and I was only in the ITU overnight and after that made a rapid recovery and was able to be discharged within a few days. As an Anaesthetist myself I was well aware of his excellent skills before going in for surgery and have no reservations in recommending him.
